4/10/2009 - NACCRRA launches the Child Care Aware Parent Network (CCAPN). CCAPN is a free membership organization specifically for parents and those who care about and for children. The goal of CCAPN is to provide meaningful, relevant and important information about parenting and child care so members will become well-informed child care consumers and well-connected advocates. CCAPN includes interactive resources that will bring together people who share a need to know more about how to purchase and use child care, and will come to share their concerns about access to safe, affordable and nurturing child care. Please join to 1) network to share your expert knowledge, skills, insights, and concerns; 2) receive parenting information and e-mail newsletters; and 3) access 'members only" online content and research reports.
3/1/2009 - Check out the Healthy Child Care American website by the American Academy of Pediatrics. It provides early education and child care information to child care professionals and families.
